For all those who have grown to adore Miss Amelia with their little ones in our popular Friday music class, we now feature Drum Fun for older siblings. This musical foundation class will start your children on a path to understanding meter, rhythm, and beat. It is the perfect head start for any child to transition to more structured music lessons as they grow older. Amelia is also available for private music lessons, and encourages groups like this as a way to introduce kids to the beginning concepts in a fun and informal way before embarking on their musical path.

They say it takes a village to raise a child. This class is intended to create that village to support and nurture growing families, foster a sense of community, and provide a resource for all the everyday questions that arise in rearing a child. Each session will include a social time for parents and caregivers to connect with one another, swap stories and ideas, and trade encouragement. This will be followed by music and movement designed to strengthen tactile and auditory bonds between parent and child. Next, a discussion will be lead on topics such as organics, sleep habits, wellness, allergies, siblings, and more. Finally, the session will wrap up with a question and answer session in which the entire group is encouraged to share their collective wisdom and experience. Afterwards, the loft is available until 12:45 if you wish to stay and have a picnic with new friends.
$20/class, $150/10 class series to be used within the three month season. Drop ins welcome based on availability. Click here to register.
